We noticed there was a lot of paperwork, such as work lists, attendance lists, payouts, etc. Authorities like the Tax Office, Police (CPM), and GGD require this.
Explanation:
Every day there must be an attendance list of the ladies present: what time they arrive, what time they leave, etc. Also, an exact list is kept for each lady showing how many clients they have, for how long, and at what times. The Tax Authorities require this and it is later used to make an opting-in calculation for payouts. Upon payout, the lady receives a sort of invoice in duplicate explaining the opting-in calculation and how much she gets. They must sign these together with the host or hostess. One is for the lady, the other for the company.
The accounting for this is also heavy for many companies, and quite difficult to properly put on paper. Even accountants often don't really know what to do with opting-in (one says employment, the other says independent). The Tax Authorities often don't know what it actually is either. Just to clarify: opting-in is fictitious employment (so not actual employment). Yes, it's complicated.
After gaining years of experience at companies working with opting-in, we came to the conclusion that all these companies struggled with the accounting for this. We thought: there must be another way.
While we were talking, we thought: why can't all this just be in an automated system? With a database, login etc., specially designed for opting-in. Everyone immediately laughed and said: "Impossible, otherwise someone would have done it a long time ago!".
We decided to do it anyway. We created a software system to automatically run the calculations for payouts. Since most companies also have a website, we attached a CMS to it.
Now, a few years later, the whole thing has been perfected and is unsurpassable. A completely automated accounting system with real-time work lists, attendance lists, personnel agenda, and cash book. Even the ability to track drinks from your bar (including commission calculation). And to top it all off, a TOUCHSCREEN module that gets rid of all the paperwork, fully integrated with our security and panic button systems.
Besides these examples, much more is possible. Since it basically just concerns the opting-in regulation, we named the system Optingin+ for this reason.
